This weekend, I decided to create a web site for my novel, a place where I may share, with those who will choose to read, my progress, excitement and difficulties with the writing and publication process. Hopefully, it will help, inform, and interest others as much as it will me. It is strange for me to come back to creating a web site at this time of my life. When I first started teaching Biology in 1997, I created the first course-related web site of the department at Iowa Central Community College. I remember using FrontPage then. It was exciting, and my students loved it while my colleagues looked on nervously.  This web site for my novel, though, makes me nervous. Maybe it’s like dating again after a long relationship; the thought makes one nervous rather than excited, but eventually the nervousness passes and our confidence returns. I hope it works the same in this case.
