Today, after having spent the weekend finalizing the site, in particular the Italian version for which I received valuable feedback from my sister and parents, I announced the launch of my novel on Facebook. I did the announcement in Italian, then in English, and finally in French, trying to time the release of each with time of day when Italians and North Americans might be most available to view and respond to the posting.

I was not a nervous wreck during the time between the postings and the first and second reactions, but I was certainly worried. But it has gone well in the US and Canada, and the message has started to spread; I hope it continues. However, I mus have misjudged my timing for the Italian version of the post, because I received no reactions from Italy. I will try again at a different time tomorrow.
