It is with great pleasure that I announce that I have found the person to whom I will entrust the translation of Forebodings. Claire Bourely is a student at Université de Montréal, about to complete a DESS in translation before entering a doctoral program in the fall.
In addition to these accomplishments, Claire has also lived in England for several years and has published 3 novels in France and written 2 plays, one of which won a prize in 2007.
It goes without saying that I could not be happier to have found a person so qualified with whom to collaborate, and that I can already imagine the book with its title in French and filled with pages telling the story of K’Tara in her beautiful prose.
And if all goes well, we might even present it at Montreal’s Book Convention, this fall.
LADP.
P.S.: If the French version interests you, follow my blog; I will post monthly updates starting in April (when Claire will complete her semester).
